Eye Safety
More than one million people suffer from eye injuries each year. Ninety percent of those injuries could've been prevented by wearing appropriate protective eyewear. Many ordinary activities like mowing the lawn, jump-starting vehicles, or using household chemicals for cleaning can lead to very serious eye injuries.
The eye's delicate tissues are easily burnt by chemicals in detergents and ammonia, and lawn equipment can easily propel debris.
